Lanzarote Costa Teguise

The island of Lanzarote can be found on the easternmost part of the Canary Islands. This piece of land, measuring about 845.9 km₂ and which approximately 125km off the coast of Africa and 1,000 km from the Iberian Peninsula, is the fourth largest of the group of islands. Specifically, Lanzarote measures 60km form north to south and 25km from east to west. It has a 213km coastline and has a beautiful landscape that includes the Famara and Ajaches mountain ranges in its north and south respectively. It is also home to the El Jable desert and the “Tunnel of Atlantis” which is considered as the largest submerged volcanic tunnel in the world. The entire island has an origin which is intricately connected with the volcanoes found in it. It was literally created by volcanic eruptions and the Canary hotspot which account for its solidified lava streams and its beautiful rock formations.

Costa TeguiseCosta Teguise is a small town located in the Municipality of Teguise on Lanzarote Island. It was developed and built primarily for Tourism. To this day, Lanzarote Costa Teguise is a premiere tourist destination with various pubs and discos, restaurants and Spanish tapas bars alongside British- style pubs. But undoubtedly the most significant tourist attraction of the town is its four main beaches which are all natural. The Playa de los Charcos, Playa de las Cucharas, Playa del Jablillo and Playa Bastian are four of the best beaches anywhere in the world.

Costa Teguise BeachIf you’re looking to take a break from the everyday grind, Costa Teguise Holidays may just be what you need. This tropical paradise offers a variety of activities for the entire family. Capitalizing on its exquisite waters, Costa Teguise has become home to watersports enthusiasts worldwide. It particularly boasts of being an excellent windsurfing location, attracting both beginners as well veterans of the sport. If this is not your thing however, it also has calmer attractions like scuba diving, sailing and deep sea fishing, just to name a few. For those wishing to stay a little closer to land, Costa Teguise is home to an exquisite 18-hole golf course and water park. Top off your holidays by sampling some of the islands many bars and restaurants. Whatever you fancy, a Costa Teguise Holiday is one you will surely not forget easily.

Costa Teguise may have been intentionally designed by man to be a luxurious getaway, its beautiful Lanzarote weather however, is truly God given. The area enjoys warmth the whole year round. The climate is perfectly mild which is mainly brought about by the ocean that surrounds it.  There is also a warm wind that blows throughout the island which comes from the nearby Sahara desert. Also contributing to this are the many active and dormant volcanoes located around the area.

Probably the biggest thing that sets Costa Teguise apart from other tourist spots are the marvelous Costa Teguise Hotels. Because it was especially designed with tourists in mind, many of the accommodations are truly world class, perfect for individual and families looking for a splendid time. From exquisitely large hotels like the Grand Teguise Playa Hotel to the more remote yet equally beautiful Oasis de Lanzarote, all of the locations are strategically placed within the area so that vacationers can enjoy that unique island experience. Amenities like first class restaurants and spas are available just a stones throw away from the beaches to ensure that the entire family has a good time.

For a more intimate experience, Costa Teguise Apartments are a good option. Created for a homier feel, these places are definitely not lacking in amenities. Although they are smaller than most of the hotels, they are still very popular with many tourists who prefer to shy away from the busier atmospheres. Many, such as the Sirocco Apartments, have been recently renovated to provide a more modern feel and updated features. Staying in an apartment doesn’t also mean that the location is less ideal. Majority of the apartment complexes are as strategically placed as the hotels. The Galeon Playa, for instance, is right in-between the two main beaches in Lanzarote Costa Teguise (El Jablillo and Las Cucharas) providing convenient and easy access to the bodies of water.
